Federal Single Family Master Bathroom RemodelCardinal was contracted to remodel a 1990's federal-style single family master bathroom. The bath had a construction flaw in the original bath and shower that required the room to require renovation. The clients decided at that time to also modify the bath to better reflect their style and taste. The bathroom was demolished and remodeled with a bubbler-style soaking tub, walk-in double shower and double vanity. New cherry cabinetry with granite counters were chosen along with porcelain tile on the floor and walls. Custom faux treatments were applied to the walls. Soaking tub deck and shower walls were accented with decorative bands. The cherry vanity cabinetry selected featured a thirty six inch height and twenty four inch depth for ease of use and additional storage.
A custom shower was fabricated in the bath which included an angled door for space savings in the room and a fabricated glass surround.
The shower also contained a double shelf built into the wall to save space in the shower and add character.
